I am currently working in the Aesculap Academy as a Programs Manager for 13 years.  I enjoy the interaction with marketing, surgeons and lab personnel.  One of my favorite parts about working at Aesculap is knowing that the products we make affect and help so many people. Dr. Diego Gonzalez Rivas is a graduate of Santiago de Compostela University and the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Coruña University (MD). He received training in General Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, and lung transplantation at Coruña University Hospital.

He is currently Thoracic Surgeon in Coruña University Center and an active member of lung transplantation program. He is the creator of minimally invasive thoracic surgery Unit working at Coruña hospital, Quiron Hospital, San Rafael and Modelo medical center. He was pioneer surgeon in the world performing uniportal VATS lobectomies (first case in June 2010) and he has published several papers describing this procedure and the results in the most important medical journals and textbooks of thoracic surgery. Dr Rodney J. Landreneau is a nationally renounced thoracic surgeon known for his expertise in the treatment of advanced diseases of the lung and esophagus. He is affiliated with the Landreneau Thoracic Surgical Associates, P.C.. He directed the lung cancer program at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and he performed the world’s first minimally invasive lung resection.
