Foot Dissection Video
By:
The question stands; how will students practice on tissue that resembles rubber, has no fluids, blood or pliability like that of a fresh frozen cadaver?
Here at the MARC Institute, you won’t have to ask that question as you can see during this dissection video.
In this particular dissection of a foot that was conducted, we superficially remove the top layer of skin, exposing tendons, muscles, and fat that lay very close to the surface.
You are able to see nerves, blood vessels, arteries and veins, in their true form, not meddled by any type of preservative.
In addition, you can identify the structures not only based upon their location but their appearance as well.
When utilizing preserved tissue, identifying certain areas can be difficult when the texture, color, and flexibility all vary from real fresh human tissue.
